M3 Sedan in Space Grey? Saw it in Munich

Was in Munich today, and saw a Space Grey M3 Sedan driving not too far from BMW HQ. I'm so mad that I totally forgot that I had a camera with me in my bookbag, I was too occupied with checking it out from the bus. Car looks awesome in this color, but I know it's not available in it. One thing I noticed was that the car had the BMW logo taped up. Then about minute later I saw the new facelifted 335i in a color I've never seen. Looked silverish, but in the sun had a little greenish/blueish tint to it. I like the back with the new tailights, but not sure about the front bottom part.

By the way, last week went to BMW Welt too. Here's the link to e90post if you want to check it out. There was only one M3 (convertible) on display, but generated the most interest.

I thought that Space Gray is available in all sedans for MY09. That other color sounds like the new Blue Water Metallic.

Space Gray is available on the Sedans in 2009 but wasn't in 2008, that is why he wanted to take a picture of it as it is one of the first. I really would love to see some Le Mans Blue shots on the M3 since that is what I am getting.

That was arctic metallic which has been available on US 2008 3-series. I saw it for the first time last weekend. Nice color.

It is now, for '09, and that's why the car you saw was still taped - it was preproduction. Sorry if you already knew that but it seemed from both of your response like you didn't.

Facelifted 3 doesn't have Arctic anymore. Blue Water replaces it, as noted by stickypaws above.
