Question PC Ram Problem...

my ram sticks failed on my desktop (x2 512mb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145548).

corsair has a lifetime warranty so i went through RMA and they shipped me these today which don't fit on my mobo b/c they are server ram sticks (x2 1gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...sd1024rlp-3200).

the gap on the ram stick does not match up with the gap on my mobo ram slot. now to me server ram sticks are for server mobos right and this is my mobo here (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813121262).

will these ram sticks work with my mobo above? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...R2%20533%202gb

PS: also on my other desktop i have x2 512mb of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145454, if i add x2 512mb of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ir%20ddr%20500 will they work?

Yes, both are DDR2/240pin so they will fit fine.

DDR is different from DDR2 ram. make sure you get the right one for you mobo.

if you want to get specific, you should also match the mhz rating of your mobo and ram sticks. for example, if your mobo only takes 400mhz ram, getting 500mhz ram won't do anything more for you (maybe unless you overclock it, but i don't know too much about that). and if you get a lower mhz ram, you will get decreased performance.

does the "PC" part matter? for example PC6400, PC3200, etc? if i need ram sticks for example ddr2 800 i can get ddr2 800 pc6400, pc3200, etc and they will all work?

also for these two ram sticks below can i put them in all 4 ram slots and they would all work in dual channel? the timing, latency, and voltage are different between the two.
