What a great way to start my morning...
I do a walk around my car every morning to see if there are any damages to my car. I park on public roads so I get a little paranoid.
Some a**hole decided to back into my headlights, leave deep long lines of scratches and a dent in my hood...It looks like the person tried to parallel park and backed up into me. No note was left and the car had already left in the morning... The last picture was from 2-3 months ago which was a similar situation where someone came to close to my rear end when parking... I miss having my own parking spot...No wonder I see so many people around NY with those guards hanging from their trunks. |

Sorry to see this man. I know its painful beyond words to see your baby getting bashed up by some jerk who could care less about cars. Maybe I'm a redneck, but the further from civilization I am, the happier I become. I could never live in NY or any place where I didnt have enough room to stretch out.
Daniel Boone once said "If you can see the smoke from your neighbors chimney, its becoming too crowded." This is one of my favorite sayings! |

Arg, just looking at the pictures is causing me extreme nausea. Hate this kind of stuff, people just don't care. Hope things work out.

The scratches are too deep to be buffed out...

ah man that's rough. It takes a pretty hard hit to dent the hood like that too. I'm in Queens. I try to park in between driveways as often as I can. I do have a driveway spot at home though.

I decided to get a new aftermarket hood. Last night while my car was parked under a street lamp, I noticed a bump on the top middle of my hood...Like when you push a flat piece of paper forward while holding the other end, the middle of the paper pops up like a bridge, I don’t know if that makes sense.
As for headlights maybe a new lense will work. I’m also looking to invest in a viper alarm system. Someone told me the alarm system alerts you when your car is messed with. |

Iv seen people set up a constant running video cam in car for this very reason, love to see look on their face when a cop shows up at their door step.
