Got mine in today, install was a bit of a pain but took less than a half hour once I figured it out:

Not a great photo, but you get the idea.

woohoo. just got home two hours ago. saw that my my LUXs came in. took me 20 mins to install them. dang it was a b(#@&^ to get the bulbs out and put them in. lol
they look awesome, but its dark outside so of course it looks good. the real test will be in the sun to check them out in the daytime at a distance. been raining here like crazy, so can't go out for a drive *sigh

Got mine in. Took about 10 minutes for both sides. Thanks for the tips guys. Guess it helps that I've done a handful of H8 AE changes before too. Looks amazing!!!

One tip I have would be to not only check the tab positions of the outgoing bulb, but to also mark the correct 12-o'clock insertion position on the ingoing LUX cylinder with some sort of marking tool (chalk?). After fumbling the bulb into the socket, I found I had to re-orient myself back to the correct position.

Coming from Weisslicht LEDs, the LUX are impressive! I'd say they are about 50-60% brighter than the Weisslichts. Probably not twice as bright. The Weisslichts were pretty good to start. More subjective evaluation to come. And pics too!

This is a GREAT tip! I just got mine installed. The iPhone pic does them no justice so I'll post better pics when I get home. So happy I can turn my DRL's back on without shame!

Ps. I don't know how anyone can get their hands in that hole. I couldn't get more than two fingers. I took a two handed surgical approach with a screwdriver and a 10 inch needle nose. I used the needle nose to hold in place and the screwdriver to turn it.

Thank LuxAngelEyes for this great product.

Okay I just bit the bullet and ordered a set for my car that will hopefully be here by June 8th. For the price of these I wish they at least gave free shipping.

^ no chit hugh

Well I had Mtec V2's in my last car and I love those. The price was definatly different but as LUX says those were a different type of bulbs. First I can't wait to take delivery of my car and secondly install these bulbs.

WRONG! It took 4 weeks! I was afraid of damaging them so today I just took my time and worked deliberately and slowly. It didn't take 10 minutes but it feels like a new car. YES, very worth it!

Lux - Can you let know when you expect to ship mine? I just purchased them about 4 or 5 hours ago. I don't need them tomorrow as I do not have the car yet I would like like an idea. Thanks!

You guys had me worried about turning this into a two hour project. It literally took ten minutes total. Remove light cover, take the stock bulbs out, unplug, replace with Lux, plug in, done.
