The "experimental" version of PerfDB/vBoxTools has this capability to flatten the road and remove slope from the calculations. Anybody interested can try it at www.perfdb.org and select "advanced options" and check the two boxes at "Correct the distance based on slope rise and fall" and "Correct the timestamps based on slope rise and fall."

Agreed. That's why they're the rules.

A bunch of us went to a private 1/4 mile event today, Famoso is a solid track and conditions were pretty good. I managed a 10.81 @ 135.x, no line lock and I had to run Traction Control (MDM) in order to put the power down at all, the car has a lot more in it with the right setup, conditions. I hope to go back with some real Drag Radials, no MDM, etc. the car should easily go low 10's @ 137+ at Famoso.

Thanks man, forgot to mention the car was at full weight too. EAS was there with their ESS M3 as well and it did great, they came prepared. I will let them chime in on it. Great job Craig, and Steve!

Thanks Brother, 295/35/18 BFG Drag Radials, better than street tires, but like any Drag tire they need a burnout to be the most effective, couldn't do it without a line lock. If they throw another event, I'll invest in some new tires and a line lock. I believe it's the WR for the highest BMW E9X trap speed, so at least the platform is making progress. FWIW my best trap was 135.9, just missed 136. Most of the cars there that day trapping in this range, with the exception of FBO, heads, Cam Z06's, were making 750-800+.

My Best Vbox #'s -
0-60 - 3.5 seconds
0-100 - 6.6 seconds

Good times for sure Drew! 10.81 was solid given you were launching on cold DRs that aren't much better than street tires.

Can't wait for Feb 22nd Shift Sector to see your car in action again.

When an invite was extended for a private track day at Famoso, we immediately jumped on the opportunity. The M3 is not the best drag platform, but holds its own pretty well. With California having a relatively dry winter, conditions were optimal to expect some pretty good times.

With some traction control issues, we were eventually able to crack a couple of low 11 second runs, almost dipping into the 10s. Best Time/MPH is as follows:

Best 60ft: 1.893
Best 1/4mi: 11.004
Best MPH: 130.40MPH

You read that right, .004 seconds from entering 10-second territory.

Not too shabby for a street driven vehicle, especially seeing that MPHs we were pulling.

Specs
Vehicle: 2011 BMW M3
Transmission: DCT

Modifications
ESS VT2-625 Supercharger System
Akrapovic Evolution Ti Exhaust
Powerflex Polyurethane Subframe & Differential Bushings
Passenger Seat/Rear Seat backs removed
Hooiser Drag Radials
Line Lock

Fuel
91/109 mix

The ESS VT2-625 supercharger kits are civil on the street and true-form beasts both on the drag strip and track - a real "wolf in sheep's clothing". We'll get results added to the official 60-130 and 1/4 mile thread shortly.

LM isn't NA; this has to be somebody else. I realize this doesn't break a record, but it does set the bar incredibly high for the #2 position on the NA list. Gotta say it again: mad props to Evolve and the owner...whoever he is.

This isn't "new", it's actually ~2 years old so it's just new to M3P.... Obviously not being a member of M3P can cause a delay with times being verified on here.

Glad to see both times the N/A + Supercharged times up there. Hopefully more will be added to the list as more Evolve setups get into customer hands this year.

Damn! I have a 13-ish file with my Evolve tune. Prob the slowest M3 60-130 time EVER! LOL To be fair though i had 2 passengers plus luggage.

I just went to see who has the fastest NA time, didn't realize it belonged to Madsex as well. Kostas killed it both in NA and FI form.
