The frame damage to both the C pillar and B pillar should have required the tech to section in new parts.

I would want to have this checked on a modern unibody measurement system so you will know the real value of the vehicle. Having a BMW or I-CAR certified technician at a high quality body shop review the work done would also be worth the effort.

You will have no recourse later when the problems start and those problems could ruin the whole M experience. You don't want to be wondering when the replacement spot welds will break and in which corner the M3 won't turn.

This car certainly has a specific value, even with frame damage. But if you want educated opinions you have to lay out all the facts.

Regarding warranty, I've never seen a salvage title car retain the manufacturer's warranty. Better check directly with BMW on that one and get it in writing from them. If they do warranty the car, it will probably be limited and you will have a fight for any replaced part OR any part that may be affected by a replaced part.

I know heh? funny this car had maintenence thru bmw dealership in US, I have all the records, and still covered under warranty, but it has close to 50K milse so warranty will be over in few month,
anyways, car is 2010 and has close to 50K miles priced at $30K. I am still on the fence
I would like to build this car for track and maybe DD for some occational times.

Price seems high, if I were to list my 08 with 72k miles, clean service/title/maintenance history I'd take $32k for it. I'd think this is more of a $23-26k car based on crash photos. Personally I couldn't take on the risk unless I could get for under $22k.
