Thumbs up Went to my local BMW dealer with my 335i and stepped into a e92 ///M then..... F#@K!

Wasup people Here's my story of me going to my BMW dealer and looking at the e92 ///M3.................

So, yesterday I woke up and decided to drive down to my local BMW to see what's new, Parked my car and walked inside. The first thing I notice when I walked in was a Alpine White M3 with Black interior just sitting in the middle of the showroom facing me lol

I immediately walk towards the M3. It was my first time actually being tat close to the car since the time I saw it at the car show. Once I came right next to it, a sales person approached me and asked if I needed help.

lol, my reply to him was "Yes, I need help. I need to sit in this car right now." Before he did anything after that, he paused and took out a notebook, he asked for all of my information (name, address, cell # etc.....), he even asked what car I drive, and I told him. So he went and got the keys, while he went, I went around the car to see the price tag, it was 70K fully loaded.

Once he came back with the keys, I asked him what was the markup on this ///M, he told me 15K with tax. So the car came out to be 85K with tax and registration. I was kinda shocked

He then opens the door for me and I sit in. I want to take a moment to tell everyone in this forum that I actually felt like a KING NO JOKE. Once I put my hands on the shift knob, my mind turned all black and all I can see and hear was me driving this car like a mad man, the car salesmen kept talking blah blah blah.... but once I put my hand on that shit knob and look at the rpm gauges, I felt the 414 HP without the car moving, it was a fantastic feel.

I was playing with the steering wheel and it felt so perfect, the size and shape and feel was perfect. The size was thicker then my 335i steering wheel and a little smaller then the new 6 series steering wheel. I was very cool, the ///M stiching was bad ass The clutch was a little rough while I was pushing it down and the interior is like a regular 3-series interior, when I sat inside the only thing different was the seats and steering wheel and extra buttons. The sits were same exact feel as my 335i seats and etc...
The car overall was amazing and 10 out of 10

I honestly recommend everyone to go sit in one and see it in person, and test drive one if they can. Because its a completely different story when your up close. I also hate the fact that some e46 M3 owners talk so much shit about the car and they haven't even seen it in person or haven't driven one. Its stupid because just looking at pics online doesn't mean the new M3 is horrible compared to the e46 M3.

I would bet on almost anything if those e46 M3 drivers were to test drive or get driven in the new M3, they will have second thought and would probably take the V8 over the 6.

At the end, I left the dealer and sat in my 335i F#@#k 3$#@%5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I can get the new M3

Thats my story and 2 cents...

It is an amazing feel. Shelly BMW let me turn on the car inside the show room. The idle was so loud, it was equal to my car at like 4k rpm.

Well, hmmm. That explains the rest of your post. I didn't know it was actually built into the M3

Good story but the part that confused me is the above. I can't figure out what a M3 has in common with a toilet. Is that knob a built in flushing lever or something?

I drove an M3 an hour ago. The control that scares the shit out of you is not the shit knob it's the "M" button!
BTW, sitting in it I felt like I was in a 335 Coupe except for the thicker steering wheel. Then I started it up...

OMG. That's one of the first mods I usually do and now it comes standard. And it's a very easy mod too. Well, one less mod to worry about.

a buddy of mine went to test drive the 6spd because hers is on order. from what she described, she wasn't really impressed with the acceleration comparing to my 335i with the JB2. the clutch seemed a bit "weak" (not sure what that meant) and overall she wasn't too impressed.

wow, shocked that crevier let you drive it. they are about as pompous as you can get next to shelly. i am laughing because i'm originally from irvine and all of these dealers in the area keep get mentioned with 15k-25k markups and i'm getting mine through military sales. glad i'm not looking for the m3 in that area now...
