well, let's not forget that the GT-R essentially cheats - it's a twin turbo AWD vehicle. i'd guesstimate that, through the twisties, he was only pulling on me at a rate of ~5-10 ft/s. not bad for a naturally aspirated RWD (+ bolt on mods) M3.

I used to be continuously amazed at the dufus retards that always seemed to want to play, pulling up beside me in Hondas, Subys, Toyota pickups, whatever. I tried to ignore them, but once after some nonsense trying to get my attention this car load of guys pulls up next to me at a light in some lame Accord and I say WTF, are you delusional? Why would you want to race, it wouldn't even be in the ballpark. They just laughed and said yeah, we know, we just want to hear that exhaust and see it take off at full throttle. Oh. OK. So I did. I could see them briefly in my mirror jumping around, waving, loving it. They caught up with me further down the road and gave me thumbs up and smiles. I guess I made their day. Juvenile, I know, but it beats driving a Prius. So, I try not to judge quite so harshly when some dumbass kid in a 10 year old lowered Lexus starts getting jumpy with me. Maybe he's just a fan. Or maybe he's a dumbass. Ya just never know.
