Good job DK! It looked like the C63 driver jumped the gun on that start. His seating position was too far from the steering wheel to take full control of the car as well.

What the hell are you talking about? Tired of seeing the M3 win? It won that comparison because it can roll with those two on the track while being a comfortable daily driver, the best of both worlds so to speak.

Psuedo true sports car? Everyone knows the M3 is a GT car, with handling that embarasses many "true sports cars".

What a dumb post

Not a surprise the M3 lost the drag race. Low end torque down the 1/4 mile is not its strong suit unless its been modified with F/I.

Equally not a surprise that it took the handling departments. What was surprising is that MB guy said his own forum wasn't backing him. That's gotta suck. If he won, it would have been a smack back at them, but him loosing only confirms their lack of faith in his abilities, or lack thereof. Someone already mentioned he was way too close to the steering wheel. Kind of looked like an old man driving position.

And to the OP: Anyone tell you that you kind of resemble Luke Russert? The late Tim Russert's son?

We were just driving at 120 down the highway and it literally exploded. It is actually a fairly common mistake among BMW's, a pressure pop, if your dealer is being stubborn about it, call BMW NorthAmerica, your dealer will change their mind lol.

The "launch" that they showed, wasn't the run that was counted. The launch was the Dual Clutch transmission overheating and shut off my car lol.

give me a break bro. Do you really think the M3 is a better car than the GT-R or 911 Turbo?? For who, a soccer mom? Who would honestly pick a M3 over a 911 Turbo? If you can afford a 911 Turbo as a daily driver, an M3 would never even been a consideration.

and it can't roll with those two at all on the track... those two cars are 100 times better on the track (especially the gt-r) and the 911 turbo's interior quality is 100 times better.

I can predict that the m3 will win all of the magazine comparisons it is up against, no matter what car (even a 458 italia, because in the end the M3 will win because it is "more practical" and "a better value"... BS).

All these tests are extremely bias and stupid. I'm sure the reviewers know who they will pick as the winner before they even drive the cars. They want the cheaper M3 to win, because they are writing to a crowd that could more readily afford an M3. AND if the crowd reads that a car that is affordable to them or that they own already is "the best one," they are more likely to read the magazine more because they feel better about themselves in a way. It is all a marketing strategy to an extent IMO.

I could and still choice the M3.

It about the owner preference and if you are so upset just buy yourself a used pcar. I am sure that forum will like u. you can tell them how bad and evil the M3 owners are.
