Well said. Going a little off topic but after you spend a little time at BB you begin to see how big of a tool Sticky is. The lack of professionalism there is terrible and numerous things he says or does really shows his immaturity. Robert has been very nice and helpful even without asking for assistance with some stuff. He was helping me out with some Vbox stuff but life got busy and I haven't had the time to mess with that thing.

A little off topic I know.


Anyway, am looking forward to seeing this build in person and hopefully some turbo setups in the near future. No numbers or concrete info on that Gintani kit but it should be fun watching some power wars. It's about time we see some big power setups...

I mean who does this? Never seen this kind of conduct in all my years on the forums. So I don't think most of us are worried that his car is not being represented here, that's his doing.

Get your point, and you're normally dead right, but in this case I think it's a little different, and needs to be put into proper perspective, regardless it's a tough balancing act, and no forum can be right all the time, just like judges sometimes use their own descretion in a ruling. It's not easy but from what I've seen, they do an excellent job here at bimmerpost keeping members in check, but of course there are a few people I wish they would let back, lol. Anyway point taken, hopefully Zim will be back soon and can share more.

I know its been some time since I posted about my build but basically the motor was complete and broken in, we were trying a different fuel system outside what ESS recommended and what Drew was running which in theory was a simple design but not a good one , with that being said I ended up melting a spark plug which scored the cylinder wall. The motor was pulled out & opened up to only find that the block needed to be bore'd .5mm over along with having to order new custom sized pistons from Mahle.

As it stands now the piston are made and the block is on it's way to get bore'd but in the meantime I purchased a low mileage used motor with 27k on the clock and drop that in the car while we test safely with the fuel system which I'm happy to say is now working!
The car is in a vt650 dual fuel pump state which is strong and raw ... Feels stronger then a regular 650 but still need to dyno, this will take place this coming weekend @ Ics performance.

I will update the thread periodically but as it stands the VT3 motor will be complete in about 2 months so that will have to wait.

A special thanks goes to Cory ( engine builder ) & K&B Auto works for making my mishap a speedy recovery and put me on the road in No time !

I'm using a parallel inline fuel system but am in the process of converting to what drew has or at least very similar ...

He's actually been a great help in the process with the fuel system and is putting some parts together for me along with a nice bracket that hold both pumps but I will get into detail on that a bit later once I have completed everything!
