Kinda like lipstick and heels. Black grills/gills and some wheel spacers will set her off. She's a beaut!

My last M3 had black kidneys/gills. I kinda like the chrome :-) I'm obsessing more about a M performance exhaust, test pipes, intake update, ECU program, and DCT/iDrive updates by Alex

Either way, there aren't many.

As far as care goes- its not that tough. The only thing I pay a little more attention to is bird poop, but even that left on regular paint will cause damage. The only major difference is that I choose not to take it through an autowash, every wash has been by hand using Dr. Beasley's Matte Wash.

Anyway, glad to see another Frozen Grey owner! Congrats!
Thankz Chewbaccam ! I like the low maintenance of the frozen gray although I cringe every time I have to park it when I'm not at home. I got the Chemical guys matte wash and matte detail spray. So far so good!

Noticed the Ohio temp tags....did this come from the Cleveland area? I've seen a frozen gray one in the Cleveland area last summer.

Great pickup!

It's funny as that will remain the biggest misconception of frozen paint. Owning a frosted beauty myself, it's actually the complete opposite and incredibly easy to maintain.

Yes there are some specifics needed for proper maintenance, but all of the pros far outweigh any of the negatives.

Great find btw. Both previous bimmers I've owned were grey. E46 m3 silver grey and e92 335 space grey. We share similar taste 😉

Just curious, but if you out regular wax on your car would it make it glossy? That could be a good way to tell how long waxes actually last.

However the chart doesn't account for the interior colour so there may very well be only 30 in that exact exterior and interior combo.

he has a 1/30 frozen grey edition cars. the color was available to people outside of the edition through bmw individual.

same situation as 1/200 limerock editions vs fire orange individual cars.

No regular wax on this finish. When BMW first released the Frozen colors (this was the first production run), they made the owners sign an agreement about not using wax or polish else they would be at fault.

On a positive note, I don't have to worry about waxing or polishing. I simply wash her every weekend after some spirited driving. I kinda like the low maintenance aspect of it.

I got the matte black kidneys and side gills, but having second thoughts. I did put in a MS SII intake and Dinan pulley is on the way. Did the DCT GTS update and Euro MDM by Alex. The car feels much more beastly now.

I'm torn on mid pipes due to emissions (IL) so may just do axle back. The AA Signature looks pretty sweet.
