Help Good deal or not on this 2008 E92 6 speed.

Hi Guys,

In the search for our M3 (my wife and I) we found this car at a BMW dealer.

It's a 2008 E92 w/carbon roof, 6 speed with 1000 miles. The car has never been titled. The MSRP was $68250.00 accepted offer of $63000.00 + tax, lic, and fees. WITH 1.9% FINANCE WITH BMWFS.

Is this a good deal?

Thanks

George

That seems like a lot of miles for that price. You can get near invoice on a 2008 E92 with less than 50 miles.

Why are there so many miles on an untitled car?

I think this price is $500.00 below invoice. they told me it was driven by the GM of the Dealer. Don't know if that is true.

Thanks guys for the heads up.

If anyone is up in the Berkely and would like to check the car out for me I'd appreciate it, here is the dealer's info.

That looks like it's right at invoice if not a little higher. With that many miles I bet you could get a couple more thousand off if you negotiate well, especially for a 6MT.

Good luck

I say Bad Deal... Picked up my M3 in August that had a $68450 MSRP for $63500 and it only had 6 miles on it. Those first 1200 miles are really important for a proper break-in and long term drivability so unless they will give you an incredible deal like at $60K ish I would just find one with less than 50 miles on it and pay the extra few hundred dollars. The 1.9% is a standing offer from BMW until the end of the month.

i would push down to 58k and see why there were 1000 miles with no ownership.. and make sure it has been properly broken in just in case.

but, the alpine white with fox red is soooo awesome.. thats what i have and love it..
