Agree with the "eh" comment, nothing special about this color except how special you'll feel sans $5k in your bank account.

Agree with the black wheels too

2010 BMW M3 E90  [10.00]
I'm underwhelmed with the look. Reading the other posts about the BMW advisory concerning care of the paint and that only BMW can repair damage makes me like it even less. I love my space gray metallic and can wax it too! I remember seeing a post a bit ago that showed this film adhesive protectant that could be applied to the entire vehicle and it gives the paint a similar look. That might be a better way to go if you want to tone down the shine some, and is much more practical. Ah well, variety is the spice of life...I've learned over the years though that exotics (cars, goods, services, women, what ever...) tend to be much higher maintenance and lead to frustration.

What happens when some smuck in a parking lot brushes up against this paint? I'm too anal for this paint.

That's a very good point. According to BMW, someone should be at the ready with "a moist sponge" in case of such an occurrence.

Even more so... if an old crapbox Volvo gets a tent... I think every BMW should get a tent. Its only fair.

Do you really THINK the owner is gonna leave this car in a parking lot unattended?

where do you guys come up with this info on the paint? any BMW authorized body shop will be able to fix any mishaps with it. in fact I bet it stays looking good much longer than jet black which will show swirls and scratches in no time.

+1

We have already painted Frozen grey. Simple fix like any other paint.
