Not sure about the extended length, but I bought some OEM wheel locks at the dealer today.

EAS has some different lengths in the RAD locks. http://www.europeanautosource.com/in...ath=67_203_207

I looked there. Unfortunately if you have different bolt lengths front and rear you would have to buy 2 sets of 4 ea. Would be an OK soution for splitting a set with someone who has the same spacers as you. Also, unfortunately, they are not black as per the OPs request...

There is some latitude on length. If the spacers only vary 3mm, you would use one size that would fit the wider spacers. A little spray paint cures the color issue easily (sure, you might have to repaint them once a year).

Sure, as long as you have 1.5+ x diameter of bolt engages in material all should be well. But come on Greg, spray paint on a wheel lug... That is way too much of a hack for the very detail oriented and "do it right" sort of guy you clearly are!

yeah i agree i can find them in the right length thru les schwab but i dont want silver which is all they have got. Not up for painting them. Not a huge issue because my wheels getting stolen is unlikely but would like that extra little bit of insurance. rennspec is getting back to me about this issue supposedly.

Here's your answer - black covers for the silver locks: http://www.radusadirect.com/category...___lock_covers

You can buy the locks from this website, as well.

I e-mailed their support, and confirmed that these covers will only fit a hex head, not the RAD locks themselves. They suggested as a possibility getting their chromed covers that do fit the lock head, sanding them and painting flat black.

I've got a set of the RAD locks sitting on my bench - is there some reason these can't simply have the head sprayed flat black and use them that way? Perhaps with touch up after install? I can't help but think that for anything other than show-level inspection this will blend them in perfectly with the stock bolts. From them:

Quote:
Just skip the sandpaper step so you do not remove the Dacromet coating. This is the anti-corrosive that prevents rusting. Also, make sure you use a heat resistant engine paint so the heat from the brakes does not make the paint peel.
Any other ideas welcomed, obviously!
