Or the hate from people who don't own M3s coming to a M3 enthusiast forum and trashing M3s and M3 owners.

In terms of a pure "daily driver" then yes I would say the 335 or even 328 is "better" than the M3.....its far cheaper, is more comfortable, gets better mileage and blends in better than an M3.....
M3's are more than a car.......a cars appeal is more than the numbers it can produce on a test track or dyno..... an M3 is a "drivers" car.....it is an instrument the driver utilizes to extract maximum pleasure from the road..... Its not about getting where you need to go...its about the smile on your face when you get there!

Drawbacks?
-It's ugly -It's slow -It understeers like a mofo -It's a horrible value -It's not practical -The gearbox sucks -It only has 7 gears for DCT -The brakes suck -Everything sucks I'm completely j/k.

I think the M3 is a fantastic car, the only draw back for me is.
1. Car needs 470 hp and 400 lbs or torque. 2. Brakes need to be more fade resistant. then I'd be in one. |

Brakes can be upgraded to any good BBK and problem is solved. It's possible to get an S/C to get to that PEAK horsepower level, but the TQ is a problem, even with the S/C.
