I gotta be honest.
IF someone said they will do straight trade with their F80 M3 SEDAN w/ my E93, I might. Not because of engine sound, torque, or stuff. It is just because it has 4doors. Wait... I will do E90 trade too. Anyways, kidding aside. This is why I prefer E9x M3. 1. Oviously the sound. It sounds as good as (maybe better) than those exotic vehicles. 2. Linear power band. Linear powerband might be crappy for regular road vehicle, but it is ideal for circuits. (although I am planning not to run any circuits with my E93) 3. Naturally aspirated and very very high revving. Look.... I can most likely tell how it will perform and most likely know how car feels on almost every road cars. E93 M3, GTR, F430, and other vehicles were exactly I predicted. Roadcar ain't F3 or Formula Audi. Last edited by MrPrena; 08-26-2014 at 06:09 AM.. |

While I love the sound the of the S65, I still think it's still 2nd to the V8 Ferrari 458 Italia. I got to drive one a few months back and I still love the sound that thing makes. It sounds a lot more high strung whereas to me the S65 has a liiiittle more "muscle car" sound to it. Then again, I came from an S2000 so I'm used to that high strung sounding engine... albeit 1/3 of the power lol

Absolutely the 458 is a mean sounding N/A v8. I've been to the Ferrari Challenge 2 years in a row at Limerock and let me tell you the sounds of these monsters heading down the circuit is scary. They snarl, bark, and scream...much like the S65 but the sounds are both different..a good different on each of their part
