Great writeup by the way, I read the entire thing and I'd love to do an ED if BMW Canada offered a discount like in the US...

Yep thats me all stock. That was when the limiter kicked in. 170mph is the limit for M cars i guess because i remember trying the same my last ED in the IS and it wouldnt go past 160 until i put the tune in.

great pics and write up.
congrats. nice color.
by the way, when you turned it in (?) you had a CEL on the dash. Was it overdue for an oil change? or something else?
I'm sure because you drove the snot out of it, and, BTW, in good form.
well done.
Please advise also on how they delivered it to you in the states? Did they detail it for you, especially after those high speed runs?
How's that aluminum hood after the model poses?
I groaned a little when I saw those pics, but, WTH, you enjoyed it properly.

The CEL wasnt on. The engine was off. All the lights you see always turn on when ignition is on but engine is off.

They delivered to Rallye Bmw which was the dealership i ordered from. They did detail it but not as well as they should. Getting all the bug tar and tire residue off takes a lot more time than they have so i cant really blame them.

Hood is fine. Everyone always makes a big deal out of it which is retarded imo. They're leaning on the hood not break dancing on it. Besides its a car man not a 500 year old painting that cant be fixed.
