If ANYONE steals my car or hit it....I want a TOTAL LOSS claim! The car NEVER drives the same (psychologically )....almost like when your wife/girl cheats on you...the ride just aint the same!

Great, so now I won't only pick a parking spot where it's less likely to get dents but also where you cant flatbed my car..anything else/ how about I take the tires off and drag them behind me to work or shopping!!

Flatbed or tow truck. Literally gone in 60 seconds. And no one would question them taking the car even with the car alarm going off. I've seen cars getting taken with the alarms going off plenty of times.

I have LoJack on my M. I get calls to my house phone and cell phone, emails, and text messages if my car is being driven without the key inside so I will know right away and the asshole won't get far.

That happened in August, I'm still trying to get Geico's stupid recommended shop to seal the glass right as there's a draft.

If someone wants to take it and aren't utterly incompetent like those on my 750 and some other poster's Mustang, they'll take it.
Damn. That sucks!

if it's stolen, file a report and have your insurance pay you the amount of the car, or pay off the lease

this is why we have insurance

My family has had a couple cars stolen over the last couple decades; it sucks but shit happens

I called LoJack today and it's not available in my area. Figured the police part wasn't available, but was hoping that the remote part would still work for early warning. Nope, she said it wouldn't work. No towers for their signal in my area.
Anything else like that to warn you is it's moved?
Thanks,
Steve

Cant we just call BMW assist and have them use the satellite link to pinpoint the location of the car?? It says so on their brochure. If they can remote unlock ur car, they can find it too.

In short - easy.

1. Tow truck + dolly

2. Flatbed

3. Wait for you to walk outside, put a gun in your face, take your keys

If someone wants your car enough, regardless of make/model, they're going to get it.

I had my M3 stolen, they are very common to steel, I have spoken to other owners that have had theirs stolen, and when mine was found (I wish is hadn't been) there were 2 more at the compound that also been found.

All the ones I know of were stolen the same way, they break into your house in the middle of the night for the keys.

It really upset me and my familiy.

I hope no one else has to go through what I went through.

Cars are my passion and hobby and its now all screwed up!.

I had my wheels stolen on my driveway. They cut a hole on my drivers door and somehow unlocked the mechanism without setting alarm off. Then alarm was disabled once they succeeded in unlocking doors.

So yes! Not too hard to break into; to drive off in is a lot harder.
