Wow...that is really gross!

Sorry to go OT, but wouldn't it be less expensive to drive your car and pay the over mileage on a lease than pay to ship?

1800 miles @ 0.25/mile = $450
10% of tire wear on $1000 tires = $100
Gas 20 mpg @$3.5/ gal = $315

Total = $865

I have never shipped a car, but I would think this would be less than shipping 1800 miles.

I wouldn't pay $700 to get it fixed, I'd pay some gang banger $500 to torch it.

Looks like an old rotten Chipotle burrito that ripped open in the middle. Looks like rice, beans and rotten moldy tortilla around the whole mess.

I read the OP's original thread, and realized this was not a newly delivered car, but instead he was moving and shipping a car he already had possession of.

OP, is it too late to deny CC charges for the shipping? If not, that's the route I'd take. This is almost surely vandalism I'd say. The only other possibility is that an animal climbed in and even if so, that's still the shipping company's fault. You can then take the money you'd have paid them and re-appropriate it toward cleaning the car.

I am voting for a dead animal. I beleive that if it was food such as a burrito, it would have smelled like that food in the car for some time before it got to this point. If it was an animal it most likely would not have smelled until it decayed. You need a CSI team to come out. In any event, I will now be vacuming under my seats on a weekly basis.

My vote is an old Chipotle Burritto but who the hell knows. Send the pic to the shipping company, and the estimate and request reimbursement for the expense (however much it is). If they don't make good send the pic to their contact us email (or your POC) everyday until they do. Also, post on Yelp or something and pan the shipper. Only do those if they refuse to cover the cost. Keep at them eventually they will cave. Try to find the President of the shipping company and email him (use his name and the email address for one of your POC's) that might help. Either way get it cleaned, no sense worrying about spilled WTF! You can't drive that or even sit in that until its done. I am suprised you found a detailer with a hazmat license willing to clean the shit up. Good luck either way.

My friend left one window half open in his 2009 srt10 viper. Came a week later to find new born cats living in there. He kept one cat and gave away the others. What a fancy way for a cat to start life
