I got black flagged for this one because they thought I was intentionally drifting. In reality I was just keeping the car pointed in the right direction...in style.

You have to grab the A pillar to avoid getting the black flag

I found this on the Z4 board, and it deserves to be republished. Guy looses brakes on back end of a straight and "saves" the car by sliding through an open gate. Amazing save and a little bit of luck. Action starts at 45 sec in.

A friend of mine lost it very similar to you on the next turn and ended up not getting as lucky as you and backed it into the wall right under the bridge!
