I'm stuck with you...when I take the dog in my fiancees X5 she can't take my ride...so she's kind of insisting on the M-DCT. But, If it's not ready at US launch...guess she'll be stuck out!! |

Ill have to wait for the DCT...i wouldnt mind waiting if thats what it takes for them to perfect the system to get the ultimate performance and value from it. ILC32 has a point, id rather wait a extra 3 months for a great system than return back to the dealer countless times to fix issues and bugs.

I wish I could wait for DCT (owned a E46 M3 w/SMG and really enjoyed it) but I am on a time crunch so ordering a manual will be it.

Where did you get that from? The M-DCT option is not even in the dealer's car configuration application. And, as mentioned in my previous post, it will not be available before September 2008; if they encounter some problems, even later.

Who knows, things could go wrong or take longer than expected, so i guess we can hope for a release in March. But from the looks of it that is what BMW has in mind to release everything at once, if it takes longer to perfect the DCT then so be it.
