Is this person using the car for business reasons.....tax write offs? I missed it. I believe they are allowed to write off certain vehicle expenses if it is used partly for business reasons. Might not be a bad idea in this economy.

I do not see the point of this thread. So what he has a sign. Real estate agents have them on their cars all the time.

yea....my friend told me about it a few months ago. I have seen some cars totally covered in advertisements up here in ny. Not sure, but my friend was telling me that some companies pay 500 per month...an extra 6K a year aint to bad....but you have to weigh the pros and cons of having your car become a mobile billboard.

Unless he's not really a pizza delivery guy, and just uses that as a way out if he gets pulled over for speeding

Now that is creative.

Kind of reminds of what one guy did for the cannonball run. One year, one of the competitors decided to use an ambulance. They replaced the motor with some big block Chevy and the guy put his wife in the back hooked up to IV's. During the race, if they got pulled over, they just claimed the lady in the back was in need of medical attention and they were speeding to get to the hospital.
