You rock! I had no idea I was that much faster on the straights. Ironically you would catch up to me on late breaking and cornering. I have much to learn...

I test drove a z06 the other day thinking I might be interested in trading my supercharged E93.

Got back from the test drive and I told the salesman, "Honestly, I like my M3 much better."

For me, it'd be a step down for sure.

In my opinion the Z06 is a step down in terms of everything except raw performance. It is fast!

Other than that I think the M3 outshines the Z06 in all other aspects such as reliability, daily drivability, comfort, handling confidence, luxury, noise level, cabin heat, ability to see out of it, ergonomics.

Interestingly, all of those pros mentioned is what made me want to jump out of the m6 or any M for that matter. I enjoy jumping out of the car, feeling like i wrestled a giant Sasquatch and came out the victor. The z06 definitely was/is that car for me. And it will decimate most cars on the track including my gt3. Every car offers an experience, and it just depends on how thick your wallet is and what experience your looking for I guess...

Exactly that. And with my supercharger and GTS DCT programming, the Z06 really didn't feel much faster in a straight line, if at all. I much prefer DCT over stick shift now anyway. (Used to love stick). The torque available down low was the noticeable improvement. The rest of the car, to me, just had an overall cheap feeling.
