BMW SSK for M3?

Does the BMW Performance SSK and shift knob that came out for the regular 3 series work on the E90/E92 M3s? Anyone know? My dealer has no clue, and I don't trust him!

I don't think so. But there are better aftermarket SSK's. Try UUC, AA, etc. Good luck.

highly unlikely, Ive done the e46 M3 SSK DIY w/ one eye close
the e92 is totally a different monster, but same principle applies.
getting acces to it below the car and above it taking that small rubber boot shown

heres a view of the underside of a e92 6MT shift lever rod

heres the shift rod itself, the second is the actual tranny gear selector rod connecting it to the transmission itself.
