they cant because all of our keys arent even keys anymore lol. MB and BMW use keyfobs and to my knowledge, audi still uses keys.... lol that would be funny to see though

Here's the key for the A5 below. On cars with the optional "Advanced Key", you can keep it in your pocket and press the Start/Stop button. On cars without it, you insert the "key" in a slot (like VW) and then press the Start/Stop button.

Audi used the same keys that vw uses until extremely recently (r8/rs4/s5 debuts). They were fobs back in 03 if I believe.
