E90 lowering springs question.
I'm looking to lower my 2010 E90 M3... from the research that I have done it seems like the must drop that you can get using springs is 1" on the front and 0.7" on the rear. I'm I correct?
I notice this is the drop on the springs that people recommend the most which from my research is the RD Sport spring and the Swift Spec-R springs. Are there any other springs that I'm not aware of that provide an aggressive drop while keeping the ride as decent as possible?

Aggressive drop conflicts with keeping the ride decent due to the limited suspension travel of the stocks shocks and struts. Ideally buy aftermarket shocks and struts, like Bilstein B8, that have shorter internals and are designed for 1-2 inch drops.

I have a 2010 e90 with edc and am running swift springs. Have had coilovers and airride before and these are as good as coilovers I've had before (minus adjustability for height). Ride is great in all modes. Not bouncy at all and not too stiff. The difference in each mode is much more noticeable now. Love the look and the way they ride, highly recommended

Thanks for the feed back and picture! Car does look good! Can't really tell from the angle but is the gap on front completely gone? Or is there still a bit of a gap? |
