Epacy,

Congrats, I haven't seen an IB M3 as of yet but no doubt it will look the business. P/Silver is the best colour with the Blue and especially so in extended form.

Please post Hi-Quality photos when you get her.

P.S.

For some reason I thought you were going for M-DCT, must have got my wires crossed.

My dealer just finished talking with his contact at BMWUSA and they stated that if I spec'd 19's even with a late Feb build date that I wouldn't get 19's and the order would probably move to March production.. He said they have already done that to some orders.
OC kid, did you order 19's? Did your order allow you to add them?
Anyone else in late Feb or March production with 19's spec'd?
I guess we will see when some of these orders go status 150.

I am moving ahead with the 18's. Lets hope the Satin Chrome finish looks close to the AW wallpapers from bmwusa.com.

Epacy: Your dealer is not Stratham, correct? Are you "week 9" as well?

I was able to add the 19's w/o a delay as far as I know...I will hold my breath however, until as you mentioned, after 150 pops up.

Not Stratham. Why?

Should be week 8 or 9.

It's hard keeping track, plus you haven't told us who your final dealer was yet.

edit: You're decision to move to the 18's was solely made to avoid the delay? Did your CA have any info on the estimated time of delay for 2MT?

I think this all depends on how the car was initially spec'ed. You are taking over an existing 112 order, so if that had 19"ers already, then no problem obviously. If you add them to an order that doesn't have them, there is no way to tell what will happen. That was the response I got from my dealer when I asked about DCT. So maybe OCkid's order had 19"ers already, and when he specified them, there was no real addition? Anyway, there will be plenty of aftermarket options if you decide you really want 19"ers.

I bet you that you'll be spending some serious cash on some nice lightweight 19"ers within 6 months.

I have a choice to get a 112 order for another 4 days. The dealer told me that 19's are not available. The same with DCT, only MY2009 later on. I might wait to try the DCT.

I don't know that 2009 is true. I think they might be trying to make you choose.

Do they live in the middle of nowhere? All the dealers within 100 miles of my house demands a markup.

In the U.S. or Ireland? Let's see...I'm getting roughly $40,000 off "european MSRP" if you want to be technical.
