What is it with you and "shiny" steering wheels? That is the factory look AND it has significantly more grip than a brand new e9x M3 steering wheel! Instead of adding an alcantara steering wheel it makes a lot more sense to buy a pair of driving gloves for the track

Yep. After working with James over the years to build a great street-track car and then holding on to it for as long as I could I realized it was time, due to medical reasons, to put it up for sale - it was a situation of "need" and not "want" I know he's found a great new home and I know he's going to be enjoyed for many, many, many years!

Wow you did good on that E46. There isn't even any oil staining near the infamous head gasket corner. And to already have track prepped interior and wheels.. damn. Good job. Shame about the SMG though

Any more details on this car? Notice tons of track centric parts with thoughtful installs..

I miss my E46..... they don't make them like they used to. Better go run my E92 to redline a few times to remember why I sold the old one.

Thank You for all the kind words guys! It really is a great find and only 24,000 on the clock! Its times like this I wish I lived in California, then I wouldn't have the agonizing wait to hit the track lol

All the mods are listed in the "garage".

The SMG in this is actually pretty darn smooth with the lightweight fly wheel installed, just need to lift a little when changing gears.

Great purpose-built car! Very nice Sparco seats too. that being said, I'd like to ask why the most common choice of E9X owners is Recaro Pole Positions? Just curious what makes them so much better than say Sparco Pro2000?

It definitely wasn't easy for him, he has the same connection with his cars as I do with mine. They're like part of the family, very hard to part with or see anything happen to them. I think he knows he's in good company along with the others. I did a light detail on him last Friday but really want to 3 stage it and bring out the gloss factor. Track cars can be shiny too

Nope, one of the Funeral Homes. Although it was built as someone private residence, its just coming up on 100 years old.

Thanks Chris

Looking forward to getting to meet you all and check out everyones cars. I may also have two others that right now want to tag along and get on the track too, going to be a blast. The Spring can't get here fast enough, these pads and rotors are calling my name lol
