OnEighty Blacked-out Headlights

I took advantage of OneEighty's Blackout deal for September and sent my headlights off to them for a little work.

Black out special:

Matte black housing
LED Orb angel eyes retrofit
Gloss black shrouds
Silver OEM style text
Matte black turn signal bowl

Additional options:

Headlight restoration
Clear Euro cornering lenses
Clear Xenon lenses

Getting the headlights out isn't all that painful. It's probably easiest to remove the front bumper with the front wheels off, but you don't have to take out the wheel liners. It only took about 15 minutes to get the bumper off (not my first time). The headlights were pretty straight forward. Remove the Torx bolts and the one single 8mm bolt under the headlight attached to a bracket. On the driver side, it's best to remove the bolt that attaches the headlight to the bracket. On the passenger side it's best to remove the bolt that attaches the bracket to the car. The headlights are plugged into a single harness. Pinch and remove the harness, then pull the entire headlight and black mounting piece. Remove the one remaining torx bolt and remove the black housing from the headlight. Pretty easy.

I packaged them up in seperate boxes and shipped them off to NY via 2-day shipping with UPS. They shipped out Monday and OnEighty had them by Wed morning. The lights were modded and sent off by Friday evening. I received them yesterday afternoon and immediately put the car back together.

Overall, the headlights look amazing. The LED Orb rings are pure white and extremely bright, but not so bright that they blur out the rings. The clear euro cornering lens and clear Xenon lenses are a must. The lights are significantly brighter. My headlights were pretty messed up due to the dust storms here in El Paso so they needed significant restoration. The restoration done by OnEighty improved the look, but I don't think there was anyway to get them back to perfect. I haven't had a chance to get any pics in good daylight since I put the car back together last night and took a couple pics before work this morning.

Had the bumper repainted as well (since it was off).

Thanks. Huge difference. The only way I think I'd ultimately be happy with the angel eyes. I've tried other options, but this is by far the best.

You can kind of see them in my blurry pic of my old lights. The US spec have lines running vertically through them. The clear euro version kind of look crystal ball like.
