1. Install AP Racing BBK that I got from Jaypod
2. Get Vorsteiner GTS5 Bumper painted and installed (and replace the under bumper aero pieces that were trashed by this winter replaced in the process) and install the GTS-V rear diffuser.
3. Oil and brake fluid change
4. Install new RS-3s installed on Advan RSs.

You need your old bumper? Can I have it?

also I forgot I've done the following since last track day:
front splitter & rear diffuser (it certainly LOOKS faster )
turner test pipes
GTS DCT software
stage 2 tune

stoptech st40 front with pagids (soon right Sawzall? )

I might get an AA pulley too. Anyone got experience with this or other pulleys (off topic I know, I'm a rebel)

I haven't decided what I'm going to do with the OEM bumper. I might want to keep it to return the car to stock when I sell it.

Should be! I've asked for an update.

On another note, looks like i'll have to find another car to track this year. GT3 probably delayed a few months more.

I thought they declared engine swaps on all cars already delivered/produced. I'm guessing this also means that any cars waiting in the production line will now be back logged until they can catch up on the engines.

Can't drive the C2s for a few more months?

Ben! How are you!? Are you gonna be good for the Glen this June?

I actually called and cancelled the car today. All 800 cars produced so far are having their engines replaced do to a faulty connecting rod bolt. The backlog before getting to my car would easily have taken several months.

I didn't want to track my C2S as I would need to buy pads and tires for it this year, which would have been at least $3-4K, and spending that when a GT3 was around the corner would have been a waste. But now, i'll just run my car.

Looking at finding an SLS GT now instead or even a used GT-R and gut it.

That's a bummer. This post in the Globe & Mail mentions two engine fires in which a loosened fastener caused oil to leak, which then caught fire.

Just got my car back from an alignment. Installed JRZ RS1's and dialed in some camber.. Should be a whole new beast on the track this year!

Ya I heard they were replacing all the engines, such a shame as it wil cause huge delays. BUT think of it this way, now you can buy a 918!

Did you run in the pro-am class at Daytona? I'm pretty sure I saw your car on TV!

I'm not sure how I will be by June, I think I should be clear to go - September for sure. I guess I'll know more next week - second post-op visit.

It's unfortunate that this happened, wonder what ever happened to Porsche rigorous testing. Would you not consider 997.2 4.0? Haha. SLS GT would be crazy, I don't think I've even seen one yet. Bunch of interesting cars this year anyway, especially if you're willing to cross over to the dark side.

I had to "double-take" ... the red on the mirrors is very similar to my car's color

I was actually asked about switching to an RS, but the more I think about it, putting that much money into what would be a dedicated track car would be a bit overboard. I might just get another C2S with power kit down the road or a Cayman if they end up making a GT4 variant.

I'm actually thinking about getting an older Elise (I've also thought about a 458, 599, F-Type and a million other cars), and making it a more track oriented car. The engines are cheap to fix and mod in comparison to a GT3. The GT-R is another realistic option.
