Yupp, good stuff. ersonally, I dig on the japanese sweet potato. It's actually surprisingly good.

Our local one is doing lots of happy hour specials there days. Might have to get the lil' lady to go there for dinner one of these nights, after work.

They're pretty good but you can find better and cheaper in Asian areas of LA. They had a place in Westwood that I used to go to a few times a year.

Dont hold out on me bro, please tell me. I love hitting up new fun japanese places. There are a bunch of fun joints on Sawtelle over in West LA. But I haven't been over there for quite some time. Maybe 2 or 3 years. The valley has me locked in

I live near Sawtelle and I prefer Manpuku over Gyu Kaku. The salted kalbi is unbelievable.

Gyu Kaku is good but overpriced. Manpuku is better, yes I agree.

I have a friend who's sister works there as a waitress. Been there a few times with some menu items discounted by quite a bit.

Yeah I vote for Manpuku too. BTW my Japanese ex told me that's not really a Japanese food tradition. It's Korean apparently.

I like their wings but the quality of the food is not the same @ all of their locations. I think the one in City of Industry is the best quality but the service isn't too good.
