Money aside, if you could have either, which one would you prefer?

If I lived near a track, gt3

My dad had a 997tt and it was a complete animal for playing around on back roads and the street.

997TT ftw

thats an extremely tough call the turbo is a beast but would make a better daily driver while the gt3 has a much higher cool factor to me and so super track ready. i already have a x5 for daily driving so i would choose the gt3 i think as a weekend warrior track beast.

Garage List
2011.5 M3  [9.74]
I have driven turbos, GT3s, GT2s, etc. etc. for me, I prefer the GT3. The turbo has, dare I say, too much power? The turbos spool so fast it's like an on off switch which makes spirited driving a little less fun (for me anyways). Whereas the GT3 is much more linear in it's power delivery. The turbo does have a more comfortable and compliant ride though, which is better for touring. As a DD, I would go with a C2S though as I don't like the clutch take up on the turbos or any of the GT cars.
Money aside, GT3 RS 4.0

Turbo. It's damn quick can be made crazy fast with just a tune and I could drive it in comfort and reliability everyday of the week.

A regular GT3 and a regular Turbo?
I'd pick the turbo.

I agree with you on the GT3, but we should remember that there are different kinds of car enthusiasts. Some people just admire vehicles, the engineering, and so on, eg. Jay Leno. There is no shame in not wanting to be a race driver.

This is a very difficult decision. The GT3 is definitely sweet for the track and I have one that is 20 minutes away, but the Turbo is an animal at the track and on the street.

I love the aggressive looks of the turbos, not saying the GT3 isn't but it's definitely made to be a track animal with all its sleekness.
