Ordering a new M3
I want to get rid of my 07 SL Mercedes and get a new M3, but my broker and I have searched the whole country to find the one that I want and its not to be had. So I have thought about it and now I am going to order one, does anyone know how long I can expect to wait? I know it will be atleast 6 weeks for it to be importing but what is the rate that they are producing them at?

Normally it's 6 to 8 weeks, most likely ending up on the 8 side, but i would use the search function and look under the new and preowned subforum. I believe this question is better fit for there.
Search is your friend! Congrats on your decision on ordering an M3. |

I placed my order and was assigned a production number on May 22 and it was just finished today! My service adviser said probably another 5-6 weeks until it gets to the dealership. Total time probably 8-9 weeks.

2 months or a little less. I placed my order with the dealership on May 18th. The order was processed and prodeuction # was given to me on May 20th. Dealer told me average time will be anywhere from 6-8 weeks.

You can add two weeks if you are on the west coast. That is why all the west coast responses have been higher. I think 6-8 weeks is about right for PA. You could just about make a trip to Newark to pick it up at the port.
