Warning for hids

I have 09 e90 with halogen headlights. I bought some cheap hids from eBay for my headlights and fogs. Now everytime I turn on my car I get warnings for both headlights and fogs. is there a way to take off that warning or do I just have to buy really good HIDS??

I bought a hid kit off eBay and have had no issues, that's 2 years 10 months later
I suspect you did not I install the special circuit to trick the car into thinking the oem bulbs are still there by measuring the resistance

The car measures the resistance of the bulbs
That's how it can tell that the bulbs have failed
So you need to connect some resistors, so the car still reads the correct readings
Or else you get the bulb failure error
