Slight disappointment in scheduling the 1200mile service

Called my local dealer today to setup my 1200 mile service and well what do you know... "sorry sir, no loaners available until the 28th" ... I didnt push much as I was on handsfree, driving to work at the time... Anyone have any suggestions... it would suck to have my wife drive her car over along with me just so she can cart me home...

They usually keep a couple of loaners for emergencies. Since this is a routine/ non-emergency appointment, there's no reason to fret. The 1200 mile service is +/- a few hundred miles. Unless you plan to put 1K+ miles on your car before the 28th, I wouldn't worry about it.

The 1200 mile service takes about an hour. Do they have weekend service hours? If so, you can't wait while its being done?

Ask for Alex Long in Service. He's a get SA and takes care of a couple of people on this forum.

Yes, they are open on Saturday's.

I also don't think you should be bashing BMW Seattle. I always call couple of weeks ahead to make sure that I get a loaner and always do.

I have no idea where you purchased your car from but you should feel lucky that they are even giving loaners. Other BMW dealer's in the area will bus you to work unless you bought your car from them.

May be able to get one early at 0700 as well. I did that, and was out by 0845 and on my way to work. If you can arrive a little late or work from their, this works perfectly.

yes thanks for the suggestions everyone.

TTG my intent was not to bash but I can see how it can come off that way. Mods please drop the BMW seattle reference from the title. I've removed it from the thread itself.
