Repairable or not?

sigh another nail in the tire, this is pretty close to the sidewall too. So what do you guys think? repairable or not?

That close to the sidewall counts as a major tyre repair. You would need to look for a specialised tyre repair station.

if your tire doesn't leak, just leave it. That's better than taking it out and trying to repair.
Taking that nail off most likely ends up needing a new tire anyway.

Well just came back from tire shop.. not repairable.

Never had a nail in the tire for the past 15 years of driving. Now within 3 months i've gotten 2 and both times the tires were not replaceable. I guess I should of gotten tire/wheel insurance.

Well not sure, I just filled the tire with air yesterday if it is a leak it's slow.

tire shop say will say its not repairable. just like the dealer say run flat tires are not repairable. i think its still good. plug/patch it up.

Wait a day or two. If you don't see any leak in a couple of days later, seriously don't fix it and just use it.

I did once with Eagle F1 GS-D3 tire with nail for over 1 year (used full life cycle out of the tire).

Reputable shops will not repair... A mom and pop may throw a patch on it.

Next time get the Wheel/Tire warranty that the dealerships sell. Mine cost 1K and so far this year alone they have replaced 2 PS2's and it has not cost me a dime. (both were from nails)
