Bavarian Autosport Show and Shine 10/6

I know I will be attending this show. Will anyone else be coming for it?

The last time I went, a couple years ago, they had a whole lot of cars on site. Easily 200+

I am going. The Bavauto lot is often full and closed by about 9 am. By late morning, both sides of the street will be parked bumper to bumper for a 1/4 mile or more on either side of the driveway.

Here is what I know from past events there:
The parking lot is scheduled to open at 8 am. Only BMWs and MINIs will be allowed. The maximum capacity is 300 cars but with good weather expected, they will easily need to turn-away folks hence folks getting there at 6am to get in line.

Just an advisory, if you plan to stay for just a couple of hours, they recommend using the spectator parking, as it can be difficult to exit once the show begins.

Most hotels in the area are fully booked so I will likely go but not try and get into the show and park in the street. I don't want to get up at 4am to get in line!

The lack of available hotel rooms is not solely due to this event. I believe parents weekend is that weekend for some local colleges too.

Wow, didnt know this was this popular on the east coast. This is typcailly seen in larger cities with more folks in the scene..ie San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, San Diego, etc...
