After only 3 weeks my 320D XDrive MSport has arrived at my local dealer, I cant believe how quick BMW turned this order around - very excited as its the 2014 model with the new iDrive Touch. Even though I'm not collecting it until September 1st (63 Reg) they allowed me to check out the car in the compound straight after transporter delivery, I'm sure you wouldn't get this from every BMW dealership. However if you want a good dealer speak to Mark Roythorne at Listers (Kings Lynn) 01553 692000 - mention me "Gadgetz", they are a good team there and have always looked after me with every one of my BMW sales. Please find some pre-PDI photos of the 320 XDrive, I'll upload a few more when I collect it and its shiny!.

But That's not all...

Back in April we ordered our X3 MSport 35D, this bizarrely arrived on the same transporter - how excited was I, not only to receive an update from the dealer to say that both had arrived. Checking out 1 new car was exciting but 2 was mega. We wont be collecting this one wither until 1st September, once again to get the new 63 plate reg - we were really fortunate so requested 2 similar number plates.

Check out the size of the pipes on the 35D - they are huge.

I have a 2014 335i MSport on order. Not sure what I think about those M badges on the side....kinda seems like they are just tacked on there randomly. How do they look in person? Got a full side shot?

May not be, I don't know how long the cars take to get to the US from Germany but I believe they only started placing the M badges on the front wings on 2014 cars built from 1st July - maybe that you are still awaiting the first shipment. Do any US cars have the new iDrive Touch as this was another feature added at the same time.

They are so subtle that they don't look out of place, I can understand why people remove the rear model badge but I'd leave this one. I'll try and get some better pictures once its been PDI'd.

Anything on the speedo in relation to the sail mode? i.e. similar to the ready when the auto stop kicks in

I stopped in by my dealer the other day and they had a '14 535i and it had the new idrive controller. At first I was a bit skeptical, but when I played with it, I will have to say it was quite awesome. It is quick, and the touch feature is super responsive and picked up every motion I put into it. I did confirm for myself that ASS remembers the last setting "yay" but it is very user friendly...

On a 320i it looks very ridiculous, IMO.

BMW really needs to stop throwing around the ///M logo on everything. :
