Oh yeah! Looking forward to it!

I'll be sure to eat lots of beans on Friday afternoon so that our shared hotel room is a haz mat site on Friday night. Of course with a handle like "Chili Cheese" we all know you'll be doing the same.

You just think that we're sharing a room. I've made other arrangements, I didn't want to hurt your feelings.

I hope the instructors don't see your bean eating comment otherwise you may have to park your car and sit this one out. There is only so much "protection" that a helmet can offer, experienced instructors know this.

Oh, I'll be fine at the track. Starbucks should take care of that in the morning before we head to the track. We wouldn't want another "Sand Dollar Beach Incident" on our hands.... or was that Willow Creek? Oh wait... it was both!

Just keep telling yourself that you'll be safe guzzling coffee before that 40 minute drive from the hotel to the track. You're going to have to pull off the side of the road in the dark to take a dump and will fall ass-end into a cactus.

Maybe so, but it will be worth it for the extra weight savings... that's why I'm going to wear a speedo while driving the track too.

Wait till you have kids.
Vacationing with them, is not necessarily better than a weekend at the track with the guys.

Yeah, looks like rain on Saturday & Sunday in LA & Orange counties, but won't rain out there at Desert Center 'til perhaps Monday.

Leaving the wife and kids at a resort in Palm Springs while I'm at the track. Pool, food, shopping = happiness.

How long's the drive? Where do you guys stay at?
That would be my plan too. Spa and warm weather keeps her happy.

Got a room at Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino. I think it has a spa, restaurants and all that other nonsense. It's also across the street from the Clarion (home base for CCA out there). I think it's a 40 min. drive from there to the track.
