What do you do with the old OEM exhaust?

Crazy question, but what does everyone typically do with their OEM exhaust once they replace it? Do you just toss it out? I have a 2011 M3 with only a couple thousand miles on it, and swapping it out at the dealer for the M Performance exhaust.
Thanks

either sell it or keep it if you ever sell the car.

I asked my dealer to hold on to it for a few days after they put on the Dinan system to make sure I was happy with it. I told him yesterday he can do whatever they want to with it. I don't know if they throw it away or keep it or sell it to a parts dealer or whatever. I would have had to drive back (3hours) in my truck to pick it up. Or ship it back to me. Either way, it's not worth it.

That's a great deal for fifty bucks.

Mine is in my storage unit with the stock wheels, stock lights, 2 7 series engines, etc, etc...

You sell it to someone who is going to do the OEM exhaust mod
Best investment I've ever done to the M
10-15% louder
All work done from above, so looks stock from below when it's installed
And all using OEM parts

I kept mine in case I ever sell my car. Then I can put it back on and sell the M Performance seperatly. Hopefully that day does not come anytime soon. Good luck with your descision.

Just keep it if you can, there are always people looking to put stock on for dealer or to mod it. Kind of sucks when something worth over $1000 in parts isn't even worth $50 here.

Mine is now "artwork" in my living room. People love it. It's underneath a ///M art piece.

Seems we're doing the same here:

Seems we're getting a collection of these, most of these mufflers were replaced with Akrapovic systems.

To anyone that is okay with shipping. I will happily pay to ship one to me (I'm going to do the mod mentioned earlier). I don't mind paying for the hardware too within reason.
Please PM if you are interested.

I have mine in my warehouse collecting dust also haha, but maybe I'll go with another set up later with the xpipe. I think is best to keep it if you got the space, you never know

Dumped it in a metal scrap bin at the auto hobby shop on base. Why would I keep it?
