Portland Cars & Coffee Adventure

As the Portland Cars and Coffee event ramps up at its new home, I figure it's best to start a new thread to coordinate pre-meets, and track who is in town! Let's all gather in advance for a quick chance to make introductions & showoff, followed by a collective roll into the C&C event. Here are the details for the first meet, tomorrow, 16 May:

Portland Cars & Coffee Pre-Meet!!
08:00 @ Rose City Poker
North lot (near Chevron)
25425 SW 95th Ave
Wilsonville, OR 97070
Quick meet & greet, etc.

08:10 Depart to Portland Cars & Coffee at Portland Cars & Coffee at World of Speed Museum
27490 SW 95th Ave
Wilsonville, OR 97070
Cruise in together, make friends, binge on caffeine, depart.

While the times are a bit earlier than seasons past, the event has grown substantially--often making it a hassle to even park. The event gates open promptly at 08:00, so no point in arriving to the destination prior to then.

I cannot fault you one bit, living right in Orenco Station, the temptation to drive via Cornell through Tile Flat is just too tempting See you tomorrow.

i was hoping you would move premeet closer to cc so us I-205 folks don't have to drive back to beaverton area

That is a very good point! There is only one option for meeting post-I205 off Elligsen Road...thoughts on meeting near the rear of Rose City Poker? Meet time at 08:00? Rose City Poker

I used to live in Orenco Station until we moved over here off Brookwood and TV Highway. The big subdivision we're in backs up to River Rd for easy access to the hills!

Sounds fun! I will be coming from SE PDX down 205. Will try to make it to the meet by 8, otherwise look forward to meeting some of you there!

Of course I have park in the corner by myself because I'm not cool anymore but its still nice to go.

I'm still battling a terrible cold, everything is on the fence as the hours are counting down. If I attend, I'll likely be at the event in advance to help setup. Lyubm can be the leader with his exceptionally modded M'er 😉

I was there with my sedan, waited by the Chevron from 8:00 - 8:10 then headed in. Found a few other others back in lot 2. New location is great, it was a good turnout, and only a little drizzle!

My sincere apologies for not communicating earlier that I would be setting up and working gate. ///Lyubm was supposed to be the point man, but slept in :/ haha

It was nice to see the M crew, we'll have to work out timing so we can all park near each other next time; I had mint out this weekend. I'm very excited with the attendance, aware of lots of little improvements to make for the next one. The turnout was just great though! Some photos for the visual pleasure can be found here:

The Oregon CCA chapter is coordinating a visit to the museum immediately after Cars and Coffee--quite likely the BMW presence tomorrow will be larger than normal!

I'll be rolling in early to assist with setup and aid in the whole parking venture; anyone want to take over the pre-meet lead?

That front right M3 on the Vorsteiner wheels was mine
