Performance - M3 vs. these models
Curious where everyone stands regarding the e92 M3 vs. the following models. Indicate which cars the M3 is superior to in overall performance.

Nah come on take it seriously. I didn't put an "all of the above" or "none of the above" because I hope people will think them through. Everyone has an idea of where their car stands relative to the competition. I know there's few (probably none) that I'd click for my e46 M3.

There are some pretty messed up (biased) answers in this poll.
997.1 Turbo...3 votes...really? I'd take the P-car in a heartbeat! It really depends on everyone's definition of performance though. |

Dont think this is going well. The delusion is rampant here. There are only really maybe 6 cars that the M3 has better performance than in that list.
How the hell can someone say its got better performance than the 911 turbo, GTR and Z06? |

Maybe the word 'Performance' needs to be defined by OP before anyone ticks any of the boxes.
If it's purely acceleration then it's very simple to look at times for each car and see. If it's simply lap times then again just do a google search. If it's an objective thing as to which gives to most pleasure regardless of the above then good luck with the thread. I shall refrain from voting until the above points are made more clear. |

I'm sorry but those who do not think an M3 can take a GTR or Z06 are just plain...............correct. LOL!
However, I would take an M3 over a Z06 and I bought my M3 over a GTR for several reasons (not denying the beast that is a GTR). The perfect garage for me: e92 M3 DCT GT3 |
