^^^I thought ALL lenses have the "star" effect when it comes to bright artificial lights and that it depends on your aperture setting how pronounced they are?

yes, and different lenses have different numbers of tines controlling the aperature resulting in different numbers of light shatters.

I found a pair of Adidas that had a bunch of stuff relating to the goonies.

ahh... I saw pretty much the exact same shot in another thread, but like an hour or two beforehand. I figured you'd be sitting creepily on a curb with your tripod waiting for nightfall. hehe
