Probably a hater from the 335 forum. I fixed that by giving the thread 5 stars

Will get them weighed tomorrow - sorry been busy & the shop is closed up so no room to move the seats past all the cars that are sleeping over

PencilGeek would have gone if we used that scale

Don't forget to mention that you asked me only ONCE or was it TWICE about the scale & the food from the time of your arrival because of my problem with focusing on the task at hand

We will get it done tomorrow
Thanks Sam!!! Appreciate that. And if you can, also weigh the Performance Seats when they arrive sometime today or tomorrow.

So the front apron is done. My car was put in a trailer a couple of days ago and I believe the mould is getting made right now. You can see the final design in the first two pictures.

The rear apron is almost finished, it will be this design with a carbon fibre diffuser in the middle, somewhat similar to the picture RDSport posted of the 335 kit a few pages back, although the M3 diffuser will be different. The RDSport badge was the first mod I did two days before I delivered the car to them.

Also, sorry for the 'dumb test' ads, I guess Imageshack recently decided to do that. Is there a better way to host these pictures?

Looks good, rear looks kind of like the rear of the Ericsson M480 concept....

Really liking that rear, I will be ordering it. Just waiting to see how it comes together with the carbon diffusor.

I think it will be quite different. Here is a close up of their standard E92 diffuser:

I thought the rear bumper was going to have some flares on the sides to kinda match the side skirts, or maybe I just cant see it from the angle the pic was taken.

Unique's passenger power seats weigh 62.6 lbs

When we get our hands on the Performance seats, we will weigh them on PencilGeek's $175 scale (just waiting for the right time to slip him the bill )

I'm hesitant to post this, becaue I don't want to come off as being a jackass. Maybe it's the lighting, maybe it's the angle, maybe it's just (very likely) me...

Yellow circle: Does this fin appear to hang lower than on the driver's side?

Red circle: I don't see this bump on the other side.

How would that work when they only go up to 5 lbs

I think because the car had to be transported to get the moulds made that they hadn't quite finalized the clay work; too likely to get damaged in the process. These pictures were taken a few days ago, I believe the front is now completed and the mould is being made. The work on the rear is continuing but almost done.

Pay some money for a real photo site without ads. I like SmugMug.

Plenty of free image hosting out there, just google free image hosting or just upload the images on m3post.

Thanks for the weight info. So the performance seats save a grand total of 6.8lb per seat then? That's pretty bad.

There are plenty, but most subject you to ads and don't give you the type of flexibility for security, display options, linking, etc. that the best paid sites do. Seems like $50/year is not going to kill a company that is using this for business.
