chop shops, more than likely; you'll be able to find all of these spare parts on ebay soon.

I recently purchased some OEM replacement parts for my car; the company on ebay was something like tesaxusedautos or somethin. They had a bunch of totaled M's from E46-E63-E60-E9x

I am going to try after work granted the car is still there. But i doubt they will let me get anywhere near the car. I tried to ask if they would give me the name of the place that ends up purchasing it.

They wont give out any info
