What to do?
After an extensive search I am sorry but I still concluded that I could please use some help. Problem – I have damage on the front bumper and the left fender of my 2010 Jerez Black M3 E93 actually cracked. The front bumper also has headlight washers. So I think I need to replace it anyhow. I took the liberty to add pictures to my pictures/album so you can get a better understanding. I am currently considering also replacing the front bumper, ideally a carbon fiber one. On the list are RD Sport Corsa, RD Sport Stradale, Vorsteiner GTS3, Amuse Ericsson, ARKYM Aerorace. Other alternatives would be the Euro Bumper, stay with the OEM bumper or try to get the current one fixed. My questions are - Ground clearance – stock OEM (I assume the Euro Bumper is the same) versus RD, Vorsteiner, Amuse and ARKYM How much will I loose? - Fit - stock OEM (I assume the Euro Bumper is the same) versus RD, Vorsteiner, Amuse and ARKYM From experience how much work is needed? Ideally I would like to do it myself. - Pre-paint or paint after fit - Headlamp washer nozzle openings I am sorry for all of these questions, but the answers might help me figure out the best solution for me. |

Unless you are getting an OEM, NEVER paint before fitting. |
