The harder you drive the quicker the next service due to high fuel consumption. Simple
Well you know what they say about assuming right?

Thanks everyone for the help.

Oil service indicator not able to be reset after 183k miles

I have an E90 2006 with over 200k miles. I "discovered" that after 183k you cannot reset the counter for oil service. BMW design fail. Only can be rest to 0 miles and negative counter. Anyone aware of this?

Yes, doing a search on this site will show you numerous post re that topic. Basically you have to manually track after that mileage which is really not that big of a deal in my opinion. But yes a fail that you have to do that.
