Dealer/Shop near Costa Mesa for PPI?

Want to check out a fellow member's car and would like a recommendation for a local PPI. I checked out the closest dealer online and the comments were mostly negative. Looking for an honest and thorough shop to give me an honest appraisal so I don't have to waste time.

Then there's only one choice really - call Malek at MRF Engineering. They are in Irvine/Lake Forest. MRF has an E92 development car and specialize in BMWs and specifically M3's. They have built many M3's for members on this board including mine. Good luck!

I use Malek and he is great. The OP specifically said Costa Mesa. Bullet is very good as well and does PPI's all of the time.

Some of you guys are missing the point here. The OP is not from the area. The seller is in the Costa Mesa area. The Buyer would like to have an PPI as a condition of the sale. This means that the seller has to take it in for the PPI. For this to happen it needs to be CONVENIENT for the seller to stay motivated.

We're not too far away in Anaheim, but would be happy to perform a PPI for you.

Not only can we perform a physical PPI, we are equipped with the Autologic Diagnostic Computer, which will scan all modules and Condition Based Services (CBS) to verify your M3 was taken care of.

We can also provide a dealer history of the service performed by the previous owner so there are no surprises later down the road.

I have had fantastic experiences with Coast Motor Werk (http://www.coastmotorwerk.com/). They have three locations: Huntington Beach, Irvine (near John Wayne) and Rancho Santa Margarita. They only work on BMW and Mini, are extremely knowledgable, honest, and their pricing is very fair. Great group of enthusiasts. I highly recommend them.

Forgot to add... your potential seller in Costa Mesa is potentially very close to both the Irvine and Huntington Beach locations. CMW offers free shuttle service and that might facilitate getting the seller to drop off the car for the PPI.
