Considering M3, interested in feedback...

I appreciate feedback on the following items please...

1) Best exterior/interior color combo?

2) Coupe or sedan? Why?

Thank you very much!

1. I went with Le mans blue/Fox red and black interior.... two tone looks sick on this car.

2. I went with the coupe because it looks more menacing IMO, the sedan is also a brilliant car which is more of a sleeper to me. I also liked the carbon fiber roof on the coupe and it felt more spacious in the front then the sedan.

based on what you currently drive, it sounds like you'd be better off in a sedan

color combo is purely subjective, but I'm quite partial to white/speed cloth

That's exactly what I was thinking. These things depend on your own personal preference\lifestyle etc.

see if you can goto a dealer or somewhere you can look at the colors in person. Pictures are hard to get a sense of what it looks like. IMO all the color combos look great it just boils down to what you like

Don't get it....too many M3's in NJ already! J/K

Go for it! It'll be the best emotional and worst financial investment you'll make if you know what I mean! Get the E92 if you're young and single or E90 if you got kids. Slap some snow tires in the winter and you're golden! See you around.

p.s. get the ZCP Package if you don't want others to think you're M3 is just a Honda Civic. LOL!

I'm glad you asked us those personal questions. Get the purple 4 door convertible. Reason is, it's unique.

Blue is a sharp looking colour so is red ... I had those colours in the past that is why I now have white and red fox interior ... I like it and it does look sharp.

How many doors depends on the significant other in your life, ladies love the rear doors to put stuff in as well as the baby

In the end as so many have pointed out it is a decision you have to make to suit your liking and lifestyle. Good luck I hope you find what you desire.

Mine is Monte Carlo Blue with Rust Brown Interior. If you want the standard colors then I would go with any interior except black and any exterior besides Alpine White. My fav. standard colors are Melbourne Red and Space Grey.

1) I'm about to get an ED Order in on a Lemans Blue/ Individual Rust Brown. The "Best" combo IMO is hard to call though. So many good choices.

2) Sedan. I like the utility and sleeper status on the sedan. Plus who knows if it will ever be back on the M3.

Personally almost anything with the fox red/black/black interior. I'm going from Jet Black to Alpine white and can't wait! At this point in production, your going to be hard pressed to be picky about colors. Sedan production ends in October....

I went through a lot of effort and months of research to every color in person, and talked to dozens of dealer staff. There's a majority consensus that these color combinations are by far the best:

Silver Stone II + Fox Red

Mineral White (or alpine, but I don't see the point of not going metalic white) + Fox Red

Melbourne Red + Black or Red/Black/Black

The coupe is significantly better than the Sedan, simply because it just looks better. The sedan is only something to consider if you have kids that use child seats.

I also think it's worth considering some of the custom color options, which are a little more expensive:

Atacam Yellow + Black (personal favorite)
Fire Orange + Black w/ Orange Stitching
Frozen Black (matte black) + Fox Red or Red/Black/Black or Black w/ Red Stitching
Power green + Black w/Green stitching
Valencia Orange + Black w/ Orange Stitching

As a final peice of advice, if you can get the Extended leather go for it. It's very much worth it.
