Time to upgrade to the newer CF/Alcantara Performance Shiftknob...They are in stock at our dealer and are very nice. Probably pick it up next week.

I saw that a while back in an M5 promo car but have not been able to find one at a dealer; it's def a nice knob; I have the older performance knob

I am with you. I have the older one too. They were $190 out the door here in San Diego. I hadn't seen them in stock anywhere either. Almost bought it.
